We are sharing our story as one dark skinned, African-American, feminine-to-androgynous-presenting, lesbian woman; and one light-skinned, African-American, masculine-presenting, lesbian woman. While each of our separate identities have aspects that obviously connect to each other (ie. African-American and lesbian woman), there are some stark differences that shape our relationship in an interesting way (ie, skin color and presentation/expression).
